MC-EC Enterprises participate in community BBQ Event
The Nisqually Markets, Medicine Creek Cafe, Nisqually Post and Print and most importantly, She Nah Nam Seafood participated in the event. Our entities had tent space where they showcased our entities to approximately 5000 attendees.
She Nah Nam Seafood provided some of our fresh Chinook salmon to ten of the grill masters who each created their own specialty dish whether just grilled salmon or a delicious smoked salmon spread with crackers and other appetizers. These were all served to the community for "BBQ Bucks" sold by the American Legion. These funds went to serve the community, Veterans and local youth activities. Every grill master stated it was the best salmon that they have ever had and most asked about ordering more. Event attendees were delighted with the addition of salmon to the BBQ event. Each grill master had a She Nah Nam Seafood sign which helped everyone to know that they served our fresh salmon.
Nisqually Post and Print provided signage throughout the area for the American Legion and other businesses who participated in the event. To keep the attendees entertained, Nisqually Markets and Medicine Creek Cafe had a game with prizes.
Overall it was a great event. Medicine Creek Enterprise Corporation's business entities received a great deal of feedback and exposure prior to the event, during and on-going. The event manager, Tom Riggs would like to see a closer relationship with the Nisqually Tribe and this event due to the long history between Dupont and the Nisqually Tribe.
We look forward to August 2020!
